TOTAL, in partnership with its corporate partners and NNPC, selects and sponsors young Nigeria scholars for Masters degree programs in Engineering and Geosciences (Oil and Gas related) in top universities in France. By this notice, suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for the NNPC/TOTAL/QUAI D’ORDSAY International Scholarship.

Eligibility criteria for NNPC/TOTAL/QUAI D’ORDSAY International Scholarship

• Applicants must be Nigerian
• Must hold a university degree (minimum second class upper)
• Must have completed the mandatory NYSC programme
• French proficiency is not required but can be an advantage.
• All master programmes are taught in English

Schools And Programme for NNPC/TOTAL/QUAI D’ORDSAY International Scholarship

Candidates are advised to start applying to the following programme with the listed institutions. You must choose a field of studies in direct relation with your first degree.

IFP School (Petroleum Engineering)

1.) Master / MSc:

• Specialized Master in Petroleum Geosciences Geology.
• Specialized Master in Petroleum Geosciences Geophysics.
• Specialized Master in Reservoir Geoscience and Engineering.

Duration

12 month academic program + 4-6 month internship

2.) Master / MSc:

• Specialized Master in Processes and Polymers.
• Specialized Master in Petroleum Economics and Management.
• Specialized Master in Petroleum Data Management.

Duration

11 month academic program + 4-6 month internship

18 month acadamic program + 6 month internship , Possibility of doing it in home country or in France

Application Process/Procedure

Interested and qualified candidates should follow the procedure below to apply.

1. Visit www.careers.total.com to Start Application.
2. If the page defaults in French, click on “English” at the top of the page to change the language.
3. On the navigation bar, click “APPLY TO TOTAL”.
4. Navigate to “Our offers” and “select” your language preference.
5. Click on “Advanced Search”.
   1. ln the “Country” text box type ‘Nigeria’
   2. ln the “Functional discipline” option box select ‘Research Innovation & Development’
   3. Then click “Search” to display the advertised Scholarship program in Nigeria.
6. Click on the “Total International Scholarship” to view details of the application. You can then complete an online application form by clicking on: ‘Apply to job’ at the bottom of the page.
7. You will be requested to create an account if you do not have an existing one. This is mandatory.
8. Please fill the form accordingly.

Note: It is compulsory to attach your CV where it is required in the application form
