The registration exercise for the West African Examination Council (WAEC) Walk-In-Candidates for the West African Senior School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) for Private Candidates, Second series (August/October) is scheduled to commence immediately after the closure of the normal registration window.

By this notice, all candidates who due to whatever reasons missed registering for the 2024 WAEC Nov/Dec GCE during the normal registration window, can now seize this opportunity to register for the August/October series.

Walk-in Candidates |Meaning

WAEC GCE ’walk-in candidates is a new scheme introduced by the West African Examination Council to aid intending candidates for the November/December WASSCE, who due to whatever reasons, were unable to register during the normal registration period.

How to Register for WAEC GCE as a Walk-in Candidates

Candidates who wish to register for the examination after the close of entries may be accommodated as “Walk-in-Candidates” provided they register not less than twenty four hours to the scheduled time of the paper (s) they intend to write.

The “Walk-in- Candidates” fee is Twenty Five Thousand Naira (N25.000.00) only.

Commencement of The WAEC GCE Walk-In-Candidates Registration

The ’walk-in candidates’ registration will commence after the deadline for normal WAEC GCE registration and continue throughout the duration of the normal WAEC GCE examination.
