Agbami Medical and Engineering Professionals Scholarship Award

The Scholarship programme which is funded by Star Deep Water Petroleum Limited and its partners is one of the most viable scholarship in Nigeria for now.
The scholarship programme is part of the company’s continuous support for capacity building in the Health and Engineering sectors as a strategic feed into the national manpower pool. The Scholarship programme is also a major component of the Agbami partners’ Social Investment in the strategic development of Health and Education in Nigeria and in the Niger Delta in particular.

Guidelines on How to apply Agbami Scholarship Award

The following instructions will serve as a road map to assist student who wish to apply for the Agbami Medical and Engineering Professionals Scholarship Award Scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria for Agbami Medical and Engineering Professional Scholarship

Application is open to full time 100 or 200 level students admitted during current academic session only studying any of the underlisted courses in any accredited university within Nigeria.

Medicine and Surgery
Pharmacy and
Dentistry

Required Documents For Agbami Scholarship

1.  Before you start this application, ensure you have clear scanned copies of the following documents
   1. Passport photograph with white background not more than 3 months old (450px by 450px not more than 200kb)
   2. School ID card
   3. Admission Letter
   4. Birth Certificate
   5. O’ Level Result
   6. JAMB Result
   7. Local Government Area Letter of Identification
2. Ensure the documents are named according to what they represent to avoid mixing up documents during upload
3. Ensure you attach the appropriate documents when asked to upload

Procedure/Instructions on how to Apply for Agbami Scholarship Award

1. Visit Scholastic.ng
2. Click on “Apply Now” tab.
3. Click on “Register Now” to create an account.
4. Proceed to your email box to activate your account
5. Click on www.scholastica.ng/schemes/agbami to return to Scholarship site
6. Enter your registered email and password to upload your information.
7. Enter your personal information, National Identification Number (if available), educational information, other information and upload required scanned documents.
8. Ensure the name used in applications matches the names on all documentation in same order. Upload a sworn affidavit or certificate if otherwise.
9. Ensure you view all documents after uploading, to eliminate errors during uploading.
10. When asked to upload photo, upload a pass-port photograph with a white background.
11. Recheck application information to avoid errors
12. Click “Apply Now” to submit information
13. You will receive an email and a sms that confirms your application was successful.
14. Return to www.scholastica.ng, enter your Email and Password to download your verification profile and proceed to have your Head of Department sign the document.
15. Upload a scanned copy of the signed verification profile, this would be used for verification.
16. If National Identification Number (NIN) number was not available in step 6, to obtain your National Identification Number (NIN)
    1. Visit http://ninenrol.gov.ng to register and learn more about the National Identity Number
    2. Click “Create Account” and fill in the required fields
    3. Login with Email and Password to complete the form
    4. After completion, schedule a date for photo and finger print capture
    5. Visit any of the 37 capture centres http://www.nimc.gov.ng/?q=nin-registration-centres to complete the registration process and obtain your National Identity Number
    6. You can also do your total registration at the NIMC office
17. Return to www.scholastica.ng/schemes/agbami and update application with National Identification Number (NIN) to ensure completion

Note

1. Multiple applications attract a disqualification penalty
2. Also note that applicants for the Agbami Scholarship are ineligible to apply for any other scholarship program sponsored by STAR Deep Petroleum or any of its Co-venturers, including the NNPC/CNL Joint Venture Scholarship program published simultaneously with the Agbami scholarship program
3. Selected candidates will be invited for computer administered qualifying tests in selected examination centers nationwide.
4. Shortlisted candidates for the qualifying test will be invited by mail and SMS text messages.
5. All applicants are therefore advised to ensure that valid GSM telephone numbers and personal email addresses are properly entered into the e-forms on the web site.
