Swinburne International Excellence Scholarships
The scholarships are available for Bachelor’s degrees in any of the courses offered at Swinburne (except Aviation and Piloting). The University of Swinburne is offering a grant to those who want to continue their undergraduate education at the university.
Every topic is eligible for the scholarship, with the exception of Bachelor of Aviation and Piloting or Bachelor of Aviation and Piloting/Bachelor of Business double degrees.

George Swinburne founded Swinburne University of Technology in 1908 as the Eastern Suburbs Technical College to help individuals in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs who lacked access to higher education. Its main campus is located in Hawthorn, a Melbourne suburb located 7.5 kilometers from the city’s central business area.
Swinburne University of Technology ranked highly on the 2020 Global Nature Index, particularly when compared to universities in the Asia-Pacific area. However, the institution was ranked second in the world for Mathematics and Computer Science in the CWTS Leiden rankings in 2020.
In the 2022 QS World University Rankings, the university was placed 19th in Australia and within the top 100 in the world for art and design, making it one of the best art and design schools in the world.
Worth of Swinburne International Excellence Scholarships
The scholarships are worth 10% to 75% off each candidate’s annual study expenses for a maximum of four years.

Eligibility Criteria
- You must be an international citizen (except Australia or New Zealand. Permanent residents of Australia are not qualified).
- Each candidate must not be currently accepted or enrolled at Swinburne, (except enrolled in our ELICOS program).
- Candidates must not be in receipt of another scholarship or reduced fee arrangement to be qualified for these scholarship.
- You must have obtained an academic result of at least 60% GPA Australian standard equivalent
